Making Midlothian cleaner and greener!

WHY MIDLOTHIAN IS PAVING THE WAY TO A HEALTHIER ENVIRONMENT

We all know that electric vehicles are the way forward and here in Midlothian the government - as part of a wider program to modernise the fleet of vans - has gone a step ahead!  

Making the Midlothian greener and cleaner is a priority for Midlothian council and two new electric vans have joined the fleet which aims to have eighteen in total arriving this year.

With no harmful emissions, the Ford Transit EV custom vans are involved in a variety of roles including; building maintenance, catering and supporting residents.

After the delivery of the eighteen, there will be a grand total of twenty-six electric vehicles! This is all part of an investment to support our environment. 

Cleaner air quality is a benefit for all and step by step progress is being made. The local council is setting a fine example with these vehicles which are the future for all drivers.
