Time is neither friend nor enemy, it just is.

Debating with myself on whether to let M.M Midlothianmadam go and just sort of abandon the idea otherwise find the direction I am heading in in terms of writing and ideas. Direction unknown.
Going with the flow of what life has thrown seems to be the way and believe me life has not thrown kindly. Slowly I am trying to get back on track. The few articles I have written which were a good few years ago now were fun and informative as well as feeding that literature bug and offering opportunities to be more in touch with where I live.
Midlothian is great with so much to discover both historically and within the context of modern day. Holidaying in East Lothian this year simply to enjoy the warm weather with no day trips here and there because contentment can come in all shapes and forms. At times I have felt ashamed of lack of outdoor activities involving increased energy, however walking, swimming and being a general home body is who I am. Walking can mean discovery and swimming works all the body parts and increases energy.
Midlothianmadam has work to do being a bit stuck in time but lock down and general health have not exactly been the right setting or feeling to embrace new ideas and celebrate life.

Maybe a holiday is a feeling, a state of mind rather than a destination - the destination allows the holiday to take place. What do people do throughout the year to unwind and find their calm place? Please share ideas...
