Hello.
Here at Midlothian Madam some changes have been made to the site, simply for a wee revamp and to brighten up a bit.

That has been a good few years now, with articles about pot holes to events locally. Vast, with variety is the aim.

As spring approaches and the lighter nights arrive this can offer us a boost in mood and make us feel all summery....maybe day dreaming of garden furniture.
For 2024, more articles, reflections and hopefully more local stuff!

Best,
M.M.

About Us
Quality information,
where you want it, when you want it.
Did you know Midlothian in Scotland was known as Edinburghshire until 1890! Actually this region is full of interesting facts, information and inspirational people. It should be shared, celebrated and promoted! As a Midlothian resident who also grew up in the region I have witnessed many changes and developments over the years - many progressive and brilliant !....So here is a forum for discussion, sharing ideas and opinions.
Watch out for interviews, articles and reviews. Do you have something to share? Message your idea/point of view about anything happening in the region. Did you attend a great local gig? Discover a hidden gem in the area?
This magazine/blog is aimed towards everyone with an interest in Midlothian with a slight bias toward women. As a woman and at that a local 'lass' I have always felt that magazines aimed at women tend to focus on London, Paris and New York, which is fine and I have lived in two of those cities but hey Midlothian has green spaces and fresh air to aid the complexion and fitness levels! And a bus ride away - Edinburgh! which is more cosmopolitan by the day and lets face it - host to the worlds largest arts festival!
